NPFL confirms trophy presentation ceremony for 2024/25 Champions Remo Stars

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced plans to host a grand trophy presentation ceremony in honour of the 2024/25 league champions, Remo Stars.

In an official statement, NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Davidson Owumi, confirmed that a joint committee comprising league officials and Remo Stars’ management is finalising arrangements to ensure a memorable coronation event for the Ikenne-based club.

To accommodate the celebrations, there has been a minor adjustment to the kick-off time for Remo Stars’ final home game of the season. The Matchday 37 clash against Ikorodu City will now begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 11, at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Before the homecoming and trophy celebration, Remo Stars will travel to Maiduguri to take on El-Kanemi Warriors in a Matchday 36 fixture on Wednesday.
