Gunmen abduct ex-Gov Al-Makura’s aide in Lafia

Suspected bandits have abducted Alhaji Adamu, the Personal Assistant to former Nasarawa State Governor, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, during a late-night attack in Lafia.
According to reports by security analyst Zagozola Makama, the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, August 15, at about 3:40 a.m. The gunmen stormed Adamu’s residence located at No. 45 Alkali Street, Lafia, and whisked him away.
“Eyewitness accounts confirmed that the victim was taken away by unknown persons,” he said.

Sources said patrol teams, the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, and other tactical units were immediately dispatched to track the assailants and rescue the victim.
Authorities have assured that all efforts are underway to ensure Alhaji Adamu’s safe release and bring the perpetrators to justice.
