Rivers woman arrested for allegedly biting off partner’s manhood

In a shocking incident that has left residents of Port Harcourt in disbelief, a 43-year-old woman identified as Gift has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly biting off part of her partner’s penis during a domestic altercation.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday in the Mile 3 area of Diobu, along the bustling Bishop Okoye Street. Eyewitnesses and local sources say the gruesome attack followed a heated argument between Gift and her partner, known simply as Sunday.
According to reports, the dispute began when Sunday allegedly requested sex, but Gift refused, citing discomfort over his frequent use of sexual performance-enhancing drugs, which she claimed made their intimate sessions excessively prolonged.
A resident who spoke anonymously said, “Mr. Sunday became angry and allegedly descended on his female partner for her refusal. In the process, Gift managed to get hold of the man’s manhood with her mouth and chop off the cap of the penis.”
The man’s cries for help reportedly drew the attention of nearby residents, some of whom attempted to attack the woman before police officers arrived at the scene.

“The cap of the man’s penis was completely bitten off by the woman,” the source added.
Officers from the Nkpolu Police Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, responded swiftly and apprehended the suspect. She is currently in police custody.
Meanwhile, Sunday was taken to an undisclosed medical facility for emergency treatment.
Confirming the incident on Friday, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko, said, “Yes, I can confirm the incident. The woman (suspect) aged 43 years has been arrested and investigation is ongoing.”
