Anthony Joshua survives deadly auto crash as 2 others die

World heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua was reportedly involved in a deadly road accident on Monday in the Makun area of Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, one of the busiest traffic corridors in the region.
Joshua was travelling in a Lexus Jeep with registration number KRD 850 HN when the vehicle reportedly rammed into a stationary truck. The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be fully established.
Adeniyi Orojo, who participated in the rescue operation, confirmed that Joshua sustained injuries in the crash. He added that two individuals lost their lives at the scene.

According to Orojo, the accident happened shortly before Danco Filling Station in Makun, near the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound lane of the expressway.
He reiterated that two people died instantly.
Following the incident, fans took to social media to express concern over the boxer’s safety, while security and traffic authorities have commenced investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
Efforts to obtain further information from the TRACE Commandant, Akinbiyi Babatunde, were unsuccessful as repeated calls to his phone were not answered.
