Bauchi declares Friday work-free day to honour late Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman-Bauchi

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has declared Friday, November 28, a work-free day in honour of the late renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman-Bauchi, who passed away on Thursday.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.
According to the statement, the work-free day will enable civil servants, private-sector workers, students, and residents across the state to participate in the funeral prayer and pay their final respects to the respected cleric.

The funeral prayer is scheduled to hold at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
