Tinubu gives appointment to Felix Morka, other APC stakeholders

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) board.

The announcement was made on Friday through a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Morka, a lawyer and media strategist, has been instrumental in shaping the APC’s communication efforts. His appointment to lead the NTA board signals a push for reforms within Nigeria’s foremost public broadcaster.

“President Bola Tinubu has appointed Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA),” the statement read.

In addition to Morka, 20 APC state chairmen and several members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) were also selected to head various federal boards.

Among those appointed is  Fatuhu Buhari from Katsina State, who will serve as Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.
