CDCFIB opens physical screening phase for 2024/2025 recruitment applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 to check their screening status online.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants were advised to visit the official recruitment portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to confirm whether they have been shortlisted for physical screening and document verification.
According to the Board, shortlisted candidates will be required to upload their credentials on the portal and select their preferred screening date and venue.
Applicants were instructed to log in using the application number generated during the initial registration process and ensure they carefully follow all guidelines provided on the portal to avoid disqualification.
The Board also reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains entirely free and warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters.
“No fee should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection,” the statement stressed.

CDCFIB urged members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages and fraudulent links circulating on social media, noting that all official information would only be communicated through its approved channels and recruitment portal.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in accordance with established guidelines.
The ongoing recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Applicants are advised to prepare all original credentials and supporting documents ahead of the physical screening exercise.
