Etsu Nupe congratulates Gov Bago on successful LG elections

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has congratulated Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on the successful conduct of the Local Government Council elections across the state.
The revered monarch gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House in Minna. He led a delegation of kingmakers and traditional title holders from the Bida Emirate to express their goodwill and support for the administration.
The Etsu Nupe described the local government elections as peaceful, fair, and credible and assured the Governor of the Emirate’s continued support in his developmental strides.
He also pledged to continue to pray for the success of the present administration at all levels and applauded the administration for the provision of dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago in his response, appreciated the Etsu Nupe for the visit and for his advice at all times.

He used the medium to reiterate that the welfare of the residents of the state is his priority and pledged to fast-track the growth and development of the state.
The farmer Governor equally reassured the traditional rulers of his continued support as he considers them as critical tools of development.
He prayed that Allah continues to give the Etsu Nupe more wisdom and long reign on the throne.
