Breaking…Tinubu nominates Kingsley Ude for ministerial appointment

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded the name of Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Ude, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Enugu State, to the Senate for screening and confirmation as a Minister of the Federal Republic.

The request for confirmation was conveyed in a formal letter read during Tuesday’s plenary session by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Following the announcement, Senator Akpabio referred the nomination to the Committee of the Whole, paving the way for legislative screening and subsequent confirmation processes.

If confirmed, Dr. Ude will join the Federal Executive Council as part of President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and service delivery across key sectors of the nation.
