Rivers Police Commissioner felicitates christians, assures of adequate security for Easter

The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Rivers State as they join Christians around the world in commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message, CP Adepoju urged Christian faithful to use the season as a time for reflection, prayer, and unity, especially by praying for lasting peace and progress in Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole.
Reassuring residents of their safety, the CP affirmed that the command has put in place comprehensive security measures to ensure a safe and hitch-free Easter celebration across the state.

He has also directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Tactical Team Commanders to intensify patrols and deploy both operational and intelligence resources. The deployment will cover key areas including worship centers, recreational spots, highways, and waterways, to maintain law and order throughout the holiday period.
The Rivers State Police Command remains committed to safeguarding lives and property while ensuring residents celebrate in peace and security.
