Governor Eno backs president Tinubu’s 2-term tenure

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu, expressing confidence that the president will successfully complete two terms in office, serving a full eight years as Nigeria’s leader.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project on Tuesday, April 15, Eno, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made the rare and bold statement, emphasizing that his belief in Tinubu’s successful tenure transcends party lines.

“We believe the President will complete his eight years,” Governor Eno said, signaling a surprising moment of political unity and support, despite the historical rivalry between the ruling and opposition parties.
