Born on December 17, 1991, and a proud native of the Esan tribe in Edo State, Nancy Isime faced early challenges, including the loss of her mother at the age of five, after which she was raised solely by her father.
She grew up in Lagos, where she had her primary and junior secondary education, then moved to Benin City for her senior secondary schooling.
Nancy later completed a six-month foundational programme at the University of Port Harcourt and earned a diploma in Social Work from the University of Lagos.
Journey to fame
Nancy began her journey in entertainment with a role in the TV series ‘Echoes’ in 2011.
She soon became a well-known TV host, presenting shows such as ‘The Squeeze’, ‘What’s Hot’, and the backstage segments of *MTN Project Fame (Season 7). In 2016, she succeeded Toke Makinwa as the host of ‘ Trending’ on HipTV.
She has hosted major events including The Headies (2019 and 2020) and The Voice Nigeria (2021).

In 2019, she launched The Nancy Isime Show, adding entrepreneurship to her growing list of accomplishments.

Nancy’s talent has shone brightly in the Nigerian film industry. She played lead roles in Blood Sisters (2022) as Kemi, and in Shanty Town (2023) as Shalewa. Her filmography spans various genres, showing her range as an actress.
