Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen delivered a match-winning performance as Galatasaray edged past Fenerbahce 2-1 in a thrilling Turkish Cup quarter-final clash in Istanbul on Wednesday night.
Osimhen wasted no time making an impact, opening the scoring in the 10th minute before calmly converting a penalty in the 27th minute to double Galatasaray’s advantage.
His brace proved crucial in securing his team’s spot in the semi-finals of the competition.

The 26-year-old striker continues his stellar form, now boasting 27 goals and five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this season for the Yellow and Reds.
Meanwhile, his fellow Nigerian, Bright Osayi-Samuel, remained on the bench as an unused substitute for Fenerbahce.
