Ondo bricklayer flees after wife gives birth to triplets

A bricklayer, identified as Bayo Jeje, has reportedly fled his home after his wife, Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje, gave birth to a set of triplets at a private hospital in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to hospital staff, Jeje disappeared upon learning that his wife had delivered three baby boys at Aribo Hospital on Tuesday. Witnesses claimed he had been voicing concerns about his financial situation prior to his sudden disappearance, leaving his wife and newborns stranded.
Mrs. Jeje initially sought medical care at Igbokoda Health Centre but was transferred to Aribo Hospital due to the absence of a doctor on duty. Despite a prolonged struggle, she successfully gave birth, only for her husband to vanish soon after.

Amid growing concerns over the welfare of the mother and her newborns, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District, has intervened in the matter.
The senator reportedly instructed his aide, Juwon Ade-Aworetan, to provide immediate financial assistance to the mother and her babies. This support has brought some relief to the distressed family as they navigate this challenging situation.
