Tinubu extends tenure of NIS Comptroller-General Kemi Nandap

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the extension of Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap’s tenure as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), citing her exceptional leadership and contributions to the agency.
Nandap, who began her career with the NIS on October 9, 1989, was initially appointed as Comptroller-General on March 1, 2024, with her tenure originally set to conclude on August 31, 2025. However, due to her outstanding performance, President Tinubu has extended her service until December 31, 2026.

In a statement released on Monday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, highlighted significant achievements under Nandap’s leadership. These include enhanced border security, modernization of immigration processes, and improved national security measures.
Commending Nandap’s dedication, President Tinubu urged her to stay committed to the strategic goals of the NIS, which align with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
