Arab states to continue talks with Trump envoy on Egypt’s Gaza plan

Arab states have agreed to continue discussions with a U.S. envoy from former President Donald Trump’s administration regarding Egypt’s proposed plan for Gaza, diplomatic sources confirmed on Wednesday.
The plan, which aims to address the humanitarian crisis and long-term governance of Gaza, has been a focal point in regional talks. While details remain undisclosed, Egypt has been working with Arab partners to formulate a strategy that balances security concerns with political stability.

Representatives from several Arab nations met with the Trump-era envoy to explore potential cooperation. Despite political shifts in Washington, some regional leaders see continuity in engaging figures from the previous U.S. administration, particularly on security matters.
Discussions are expected to continue in the coming weeks, as stakeholders seek a viable solution for Gaza amid ongoing tensions. However, key challenges remain, including Palestinian representation and Israel’s position on the proposed framework.
