1 killed as armed robbers attack Suleja community

An armed robbery attack at APC Quarters in Suleja, Niger State, has left one man dead, sparking fear among residents.
According to local sources, the incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday when a gang of armed men stormed Zainab Tahir Street in the community.
During the raid, the assailants reportedly dispossessed residents of several android phones and other valuables before fleeing the area.
According to a report by security analyst Zagozola Makama, one of the victims, Haruna Buzu, was struck on the head with a stone. He was taken to the General Hospital in Suleja but was confirmed dead on arrival.

His body has since been deposited in the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.
Recovered items from the scene included a laptop, torchlight, driver’s licence, identity card, ATM card, and several phone cases belonging to the victims.
Sources added that security operatives are making efforts to track down those behind the attack.
