PDP NWC holds meeting following Supreme Court ruling on leadership dispute

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently holding a closed-door meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Presided over by National Chairman Ambassador Umar Damagum, the meeting follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that dismissed a motion for a stay of execution on a High Court judgment.
The judgment removed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary and replaced him with Sunday Udeh-Okoye.

This marks the first NWC meeting since the court ruling, and it is anticipated that key internal issues will be discussed, including the leadership transition and the party’s strategic direction moving forward.
