Tension in Ondo as 3 Deeper Life members abducted after bible study

Fear and anxiety have taken hold of members of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in Ondo State following the reported abduction of three congregants by suspected kidnappers.
The disturbing incident occurred on Monday night in the Akure North Local Government Area. The victims were said to be returning home after a Bible study session held in the Kasemola area, close to the Ogbese axis, when they were ambushed and taken by the assailants.
According to sources, the incident first came to light through a message shared in the church’s WhatsApp group, alerting members and urging fervent prayers for the victims’ safe return.
As of now, the identities of the abducted members have not been publicly disclosed, and no group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.

The message read:
“Good morning beloved, kindly pray along with us. Three of our members were kidnapped yesterday after Bible study at Kasemola inside Ogbese axis. We need divine intervention.”
Sources confirmed that the matter has been reported to the police and the Ondo State Amotekun Corps, who have begun efforts to rescue the victims.
