Gaufc held to draw by Rovers FC of Calabar

In a thrilling encounter at the Uyo Township Stadium, Gaufc was held to a 2-2 draw by Rovers FC of Calabar, despite goals from Nsikak Moses and substitute Samuel Jackson.
Gaufc took an early lead in the match, with Moses scoring an excellent strike from outside the box in the 17th minute to give the hosts the advantage.
However, Rovers FC responded strongly in the second half, with Tony Ayang netting the equalizer shortly after the restart, making it 1-1.

Substitute Samuel Jackson then restored Gaufc’s lead, heading in a first-time cross from Samuel Bassey to put the home side back in front.
Just when it seemed that Gaufc would secure the victory, Rovers FC’s Abdusalami Yusuf struck late in the game to level the score and claim a point for the visitors.
The final score ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving Gaufc with 16 points for the season.
