Kenya goalkeeper Patrick Matasi suspended amid match-fixing investigation

Kenyan goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has been provisionally suspended from all football activities in the country for 90 days as authorities investigate allegations of match manipulation.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced the decision after launching an inquiry into the 37-year-old shot-stopper.

The investigation was triggered by the circulation of an online video that allegedly shows Matasi agreeing to influence the outcome of a match.
Matasi, who currently plays for Kenyan Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz, has been a key figure in Kenyan football, earning over 30 international caps for the national team.
