‘Tinubu’s re-election a personal responsibility’, says Yahaya Bello

Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has declared his unwavering commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the campaign as a personal responsibility he is determined to champion.
Bello made the declaration on Friday while hosting members of the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” (RTIFN) Movement at his residence in Abuja.
During the meeting, the former governor reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that the party gave him his first major political platform and played a crucial role in his rise to prominence.
He noted that through the APC, he was elected and re-elected as governor of Kogi State, and the party also produced his successor, Governor Ahmed Ododo, alongside other elected officials in the state since 2016.
Expressing confidence in the President’s leadership, Bello pledged to collaborate with Seyi Tinubu and members of the RTIFN Movement to ensure victory for the APC in upcoming elections.
He assured the delegation of his readiness to mobilise support and strengthen the party’s grassroots base.

Leaders of the RTIFN Movement explained that the group was formed to galvanise public backing for President Tinubu’s administration.
According to them, the movement focuses on sensitising communities about government policies, promoting the Renewed Hope agenda, countering misinformation, and building momentum ahead of the next general elections.
The group’s National Coordinator, Ambassador Ahmed Bala, praised Bello for his role in reinforcing the APC’s presence, particularly in the North Central region.
He described the former governor as a reliable force within the party and subsequently conferred on him the position of North Central Patron to oversee mobilisation efforts.
Several national officers of the movement attended the visit, including National Secretary Ambassador Felix Arome and other key executives at both national and state levels.
