NUJ FCT congratulates Kingsley Madaki on appointment as AMAC Chief Press Secretary

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, has congratulated Kingsley Rufus Madaki on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu.
In a statement issued on June 17, 2026, the Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council, Grace Ike, described the appointment as well-deserved and a reflection of the confidence reposed in Madaki’s competence, professionalism, and dedication to journalism and public communication.
According to the council, the appointment represents a proud moment for the media community in the Federal Capital Territory and highlights the growing recognition of journalists as key partners in governance and development communication.
Ike noted that Madaki’s elevation to the position is a testament to hard work, integrity, and the values that the NUJ continues to promote among its members.

The council expressed confidence that Madaki would bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new role and contribute meaningfully to effective communication and public engagement within the Abuja Municipal Area Council.
