Carter Efe triumphs over Portable in celebrity boxing

Street-hop artiste Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has recorded his first loss in celebrity boxing after being defeated by social media comedian Carter Efe.
The bout took place at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, drawing attention from fans of both entertainment and combat sports.
Carter Efe delivered a dominant performance throughout the fight, controlling all three rounds and leaving little room for a comeback from Portable. The judges scored the contest 27–30 in favour of the comedian, handing him a unanimous decision victory.
Portable, who had previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to claim two belts, entered the ring full of confidence, vowing to secure a third title.

However, the fight unfolded differently. Despite an aggressive start from Portable, his wild punches failed to break through Efe’s composed defence. The comedian, leveraging his reach advantage, responded with calculated uppercuts and body shots that gradually took control of the fight.
As the rounds progressed, Efe’s precision and composure stood out, while Portable struggled to adjust his approach, relying on erratic swings and repeated clinches.
By the final bell, it was clear who had the upper hand, with Efe’s consistent performance sealing his victory and crowning him the new celebrity boxing champion.
The defeat marks the end of Portable’s unbeaten run in the ring and signals a shift in Nigeria’s growing celebrity boxing scene.
