Cubana Chief Priest declares House of Reps ambition under APC

Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has announced his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He made the declaration in a video shared online shortly after visiting the APC secretariat in Imo State, signaling his formal entry into active politics.
In the video, the nightlife figure expressed his readiness to represent his people, stating that his decision was driven by a desire to contribute to governance and bring development to his constituency.
In the clip, he told party officials that he wants to represent the Orsu, Orlu and Oru East Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections.
In his caption, he said he had informed party leaders about his ambition and that they assured him of their support.

“I came to congratulate and encourage our party leaders and also to share my humble desire to represent my people at the House of Representatives,” he said. “God is in control; let His will be done.”
During the visit, one party leader praised him, describing him as a versatile individual who has made a positive impact.
“I don’t know if you’re a motivational speaker, businessman, or politician; you fit into all,” the official said, adding that the party would support his ambition.
Cubana Chief Priest has recently been outspoken in his support for the ruling party and the current administration.
He was also appointed as the Imo Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
