Auto crash claims 3 die as truck loses control in Jos

Three people have died in a fatal accident in Jos, Plateau State, at Polo Roundabout.
The vehicle is said to have lost control, leading to a fatal accident which resulted in the death of the driver and two other people.
FRSC confirmed this to reporters.
The command’s Public Education Officer in the state, Peter Longsan, disclosed that the crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday.
Longsan attributed the accident to loss of control, warning drivers against reckless driving, especially at odd hours when visibility may be poor and fatigue can impair judgment.

He urged motorists to always ensure their vehicles are in good condition before embarking on any journey, while also advising strict adherence to speed limits and traffic regulations.
The FRSC official further cautioned road users to avoid overloading and dangerous driving, stressing that compliance with safety measures remains key to reducing road crashes and saving lives.
