NNPCL reduces petrol price to N920 per liter in Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of premium motor spirit (petrol) for the second time in less than a week.
At retail outlets in Abuja, the state-owned oil company has adjusted the price to N920 per liter, down from the previous N930.
This means that NNPCL adjusted its fuel retail price by N10 per liter.
The new petrol price was implemented in NNPCL filling stations in Gwarimpa, Kubwa Expressway, and Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, on Thursday.

TheLeader reports that NNPCL had earlier slashed its petrol price on November 28, 2025, by 15 per liter.
The spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Chinedu Ukadike, told TheLeader that fuel prices would continue to drop amid competition among major players in the country’s downstream sector oil sector.
