Breaking…Atiku Abubakar joins ADC ahead of 2027 elections

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has officially pitched his political tent with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the coalition-backed party he is expected to align with as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
Atiku announced his latest move on Monday via his X handle, sharing a photo of himself holding his ADC membership card accompanied by the caption, “It’s official.”
This development follows months of political recalibration after his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in July.

The former presidential candidate left the PDP citing deep-rooted internal crises that, according to him, crippled the party’s cohesion and weakened its structure nationwide.
