Chelsea rise to second place after comfortable 2–0 win over Burnley

Chelsea have moved up to second place in the Premier League table after securing a solid 2–0 victory over Burnley in Saturday’s early kick-off.
The Blues entered the November international break on a high following their emphatic 3–0 win against Wolves, and they picked up right where they left off. Under Enzo Maresca’s guidance, the team showed confidence and sharpness as they pushed for back-to-back wins.
Neto was on the end of a scooped cross from Jamies Gittens to open the scoring, as Chelsea went into half time 1-0 up.
Although Burnley fought back in a bid to level the match, it was Chelsea who struck again through midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

The result means they now have 23 points, one more than Manchester City, who travel to Newcastle later in the evening.
They remain three points behind leaders Arsenal.
