Police decorate 29 newly promoted officers in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has honoured 29 officers who were recently promoted, decorating them with their new ranks during a ceremony at the Command Headquarters.
Speaking at the event, Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Bakori congratulated the officers and encouraged them to uphold integrity, discipline, and professionalism in their duties. He emphasized that their elevation comes with increased responsibility and urged them to continue serving the public with dedication and selflessness.
Among the newly promoted officers are two Assistant Commissioners of Police, 21 Chief Superintendents of Police, and six Superintendents of Police.

Bakori charged the officers to demonstrate exceptional leadership and accountability in addressing security challenges facing the nation.
The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that the ceremony was attended by senior officers, invited guests, members of the press, and family members of the honourees.
