NAF releases shortlist for DSSC 34/2025 aptitude test

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has published the list of shortlisted candidates eligible to participate in the Zonal General Aptitude Test for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 Enlistment Exercise.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed that the aptitude test will hold on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at designated centres nationwide.
According to the statement, shortlisted candidates are advised to visit the official NAF Recruitment Portal via https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng to check their names and confirm details of their respective test centres.
“Eligible applicants are to report for the zonal general aptitude test at the centres indicated against their names on the Portal,” the statement read in part.
DSSC is a way for degree-holding professionals, both civilians and serving military personnel, to become NAF commissioned officers.

Successful candidates are expected to undergo an intensive military training course, which can last about 6 to 9 months.
The Force announced the commencement of applications in August.
It invited applications across a wide range of professions, including engineering, medical, and cyber specialities, reflecting the force’s evolving needs in modern warfare.
