Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has officially resumed her legislative duties at the National Assembly following a six-month suspension.
The lawmaker made a triumphant return to the Senate on Tuesday, welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters who waved banners and sang solidarity songs in her honour.
Her comeback coincided with the reopening of her previously sealed office, signaling a full restoration of her legislative functions.

Speaking to reporters after reclaiming her seat, the senator declared she has “no apology to render.
She described her return as a triumph for democratic principles and stood firm on her conduct during the incident that led to her suspension.
Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s comeback marks a significant moment of reconciliation and a statement on upholding democracy within the Senate.
