Olubadan-in-Council nominates Ladoja as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Olubadan-in-Council has officially nominated Oba Rasidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, marking a significant step toward the continuation of the city’s rich traditional leadership.
The decision was reached during the Council’s meeting held on Monday at the New Palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan. Although Oba Ladoja was not present, the session witnessed the full attendance of all beaded-crown High Chiefs of Ibadanland.
The nomination process was set in motion by the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, who moved the motion, which was promptly seconded by the Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole.

Oba Ajibola noted that the Council would now submit Oba Ladoja’s name to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for final ratification.
