Barcelona’s La Liga clash with Osasuna postponed after sudden death of club doctor

Barcelona’s La Liga match against Osasuna, scheduled for Saturday, was postponed just 20 minutes before kickoff following the sudden passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro García.
Miñarro García, who joined Barcelona in 2017, had been working with the first team since last summer, after previously serving with the club’s futsal team.
In an official statement, Barcelona expressed deep condolences to his family and friends, confirming that the match would be rescheduled for a later date.

The tragic news was communicated to the players upon their arrival at the Olympic Stadium, and after discussions within the squad, the team unanimously decided to request a postponement as a mark of respect. La Liga approved the request.
The club and football community continue to mourn the loss of Dr. Miñarro García, recognizing his contributions to the health and well-being of Barcelona’s players over the years.
