FG extends deadline for civil defence, immigration, other paramilitary recruitment

The Federal Government has officially extended the closing date for its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise under the Ministry of Interior, offering applicants an additional week to complete their submissions.
Initially scheduled to end on Monday, August 4, 2025, the application portal will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.
The extension was confirmed in a statement released on Sunday by Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (retd.), Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). He noted that the decision was made to give more Nigerians an opportunity to apply for available positions across the various services and within the Board.

Applicants are reminded that all applications must be submitted through the official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
Major General Jibrin emphasized the Board’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and merit, reiterating that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge. He also warned applicants to beware of fraudsters and not to engage with anyone demanding payment for job placement.
