Humble beginnings
Born on June 4, 1968 , in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria, Paul Enenche hails from the Idoma ethnic group.
He was raised in Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area, and is the son of Chief D. Enenche, the paramount ruler of Orokam District.
His upbringing was deeply rooted in Christian values, largely shaped by his mother’s fervent devotion following a divine revelation in 1958.
Her discipline and spiritual commitment greatly influenced Paul’s early walk with God.
Academic journey
Paul Enenche studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Jos.
Even as a medical student, he was known for combining professional care with spiritual intervention, often praying for patients and preaching during hospital rounds.
After practicing briefly as a medical doctor, he underwent a period of personal retreat and spiritual reflection in the Plateau hills of Jos, where he received the divine call to ministry.
He eventually resigned from medicine to pursue full-time pastoral work.
Ministry: The birth of Dunamis
On November 10, 1996, Pastor Enenche officially launched Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja.
The church held its first service at the Centre for Arts and Culture, then moved to the Abuja Sheraton Hotel for six months before settling at its permanent site in Garki in June 1997.
In 2018, Dunamis unveiled its international headquarters, The Glory Dome a 100,000-seat auditorium located along Airport Road, Abuja.


The Glory Dome is among the largest church auditoriums in the world. Over the years, Dunamis has grown into a global ministry with branches in multiple countries, TV and radio outreaches (Dunamis TV/Radio), educational institutions, and a Bible training school (Dunamis School of Ministry, DUSOM).
