Tems to headline first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show

Nigerian music powerhouse Tems is set to make history as the headline performer for the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show, scheduled for July 13 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
In a statement released by Global Citizen, the official producers of the groundbreaking event, the show promises a vibrant blend of global musical talent. Joining Tems on the iconic stage will be Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin and American pop sensation Doja Cat, creating an international music experience for football and music lovers worldwide.
The performance will be streamed live and free on DAZN.com, allowing fans across the globe to tune in and enjoy the show in real time.
Sharing her excitement, Tems described the event as more than just a performance, calling it a powerful platform to unite people through music and football.

“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” she said.
The performance forms part of a broader initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a joint project between FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen co-founder Hugh Evans.
The fund targets $100 million to improve access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
