Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, has emphasized the critical connection between faith, politics, and power in shaping Nigeria’s future.
Speaking at the Annual Ramadan Lecture in Kaduna, organized by NTA, FRCN, and VON, the minister stressed the importance of religious and political alignment in fostering national development.
He acknowledged the influence of both internal and external political factors on national unity and urged leaders to navigate these complexities with wisdom and responsibility.

Alhaji Idris also commended the organizers for sustaining the platform, describing it as crucial for meaningful discourse on national issues.
The event was attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Minister of Livestock Development Mallam Idi Mukhtar Maiha, and the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
As Nigeria continues to tackle governance and developmental challenges, the minister’s remarks reinforce the need for a balanced approach to leadership, where faith and politics work together for peace, progress, and national cohesion.
