The Presidency has assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to the country after the Easter holidays, emphasizing that his current trip abroad is only temporary.

In a statement released on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, it was revealed that President Tinubu has moved from Paris to London as part of his brief European visit. Despite being away from Nigeria, the President remains fully engaged in national affairs and is closely monitoring developments back home.

The Presidency further stressed that Tinubu continues to discharge his duties effectively, leveraging technology and communication channels to stay connected with his team and ensure the smooth running of government activities.

“The President left Paris for London at the weekend and has maintained constant communication with key government officials, overseeing critical national matters, including directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country,” the statement said.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s return to Abuja and resumption of official duties at the Aso Villa will take place after the Easter break.

“The President’s commitment to his duties remains unwavering, and his administration continues to function effectively under his leadership.

“We appreciate the public’s concern and assure all Nigerians that governance proceeds without interruption,” he added.
