Kano: 15 dead, 10 injured in ghastly road accident

A tragic road accident claimed the lives of 15 people and left 10 others injured near Chiromawa Village in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
The horrific crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Liteace bus with registration number NSR 188 KP and a stationary blue Daf trailer, bearing plate number KMC 158 XW.
According to intelligence sources cited by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the trailer had been parked by the roadside when the bus, carrying 25 passengers, crashed into it.

It was reported that the driver of the bus, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, lost control of the vehicle before the fatal collision. All passengers onboard suffered injuries of varying severity.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and rushed the victims to Kura General Hospital. Sadly, medical personnel confirmed that 15 individuals, including the bus driver, were dead on arrival. The remaining 10 passengers are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
