5 key facts about Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, new NAF spokesperson

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame has been named as the new Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
He takes over from Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, who has moved to the Defence Headquarters as the Director of Civil-Military Relations.

1. Academic background
Ejodame holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Transport and Logistics, and a PhD in Information Systems and Management Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK.
2. Specialized military training
He has completed extensive training, including logistics courses at the United Nations International Peace Support Operations Centre in Kenya and the Optimisation and Decision-Making in Supply Chain Course in Portugal.
3. Proven leadership
As a member of the 45th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Ejodame has held leadership positions, including Directing Staff at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji and the National Defence College in Abuja.

He was also the Best Graduating Participant at the Air Force War College in Makurdi.
4. Notable awards
Ejodame’s military contributions have earned him prestigious awards, including the Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Air Staff Awards at the National Defence College, Abuja.
5. Diplomatic and professional experience
He served as Nigeria’s Defence Adviser at the Nigerian High Commission in Malaysia, strengthening defense relations across the region.
He is also a Fellow of several professional organizations, including the Air Force War College and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
With his extensive expertise in military strategy, logistics, and public relations, Air Commodore Ejodame is poised to enhance the NAF’s communication efforts.
