Nasarawa deputy speaker reportedly involved in auto crash

The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, was reportedly involved in a road accident on Monday along the Keffi–Akwanga highway.
According to sources, the incident occurred around 10 a.m., though details regarding the cause of the accident and the condition of the Deputy Speaker are yet to be confirmed.
His damaged vehicle was later moved to the Assembly complex in Lafia.
On Monday, the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, alongside other lawmakers, inspected the wrecked vehicle at the Assembly complex.

Describing the incident as unfortunate, Jatau expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost.
“We thank Almighty God for saving the life of the Deputy Speaker from the auto crash. We are grateful that he is alive and safe,” Jatau said.
According to reports, the Deputy Speaker is in stable condition.
