Man City beat Arsenal 2-0 to win League Cup after Kepa error

Manchester City took full advantage of a costly mistake by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to secure a 2-0 victory in the League Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
The decisive moment came in the second half when Kepa failed to properly handle a cross from Rayan Cherki. The ball slipped through his grasp and fell kindly to Nico O’Reilly, who calmly slotted it home to give City the lead.

O’Reilly doubled the advantage just four minutes later, finishing off a swift attacking move to effectively put the contest beyond Arsenal’s reach.
The victory marked Manchester City’s ninth League Cup title and handed manager Pep Guardiola a record fifth triumph in the competition, further cementing his legacy in English football.
