Former Bayelsa gov Dickson officially dumps PDP, joins NDC

Former Bayelsa State governor and senator, Seriake Dicksonhas announced his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declaring that he has joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Dickson made the announcement while addressing a world press conference, where he explained that his decision was guided by personal conviction.
According to the former governor of Bayelsa State, the PDP is currently in a critical condition, describing the party as being in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

He said he remains a man who stands by his beliefs and that his move to the NDC reflects his commitment to a political platform he believes can better serve the people.
According to him, the nation and Nigeria cannot be a one party State.
