4 police officers murdered, 2 injured in daylight bandits’ attack in Katsina community

At least four police officers have been killed and two others injured following a brazen daytime attack by suspected bandits in Katsina State.
The officers were reportedly ambushed while on duty, with the attackers opening fire on security personnel. Four officers were killed on the spot, while two of their colleagues sustained injuries during the assault.
The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, has further heightened concerns over persistent insecurity in parts of the state, where banditry and violent attacks continue to pose serious threats to residents and security forces.

Although authorities have yet to release comprehensive details about the circumstances surrounding the attack, investigations are said to be ongoing to track down those responsible.
