Osun 2026: Adeleke emerges Accord Party guber candidate

Supporters erupted in celebration on Wednesday as Governor Ademola Adeleke was confirmed as the Accord Party’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
As the sole aspirant, Adeleke secured an overwhelming victory, winning 145 out of 150 delegate votes to officially clinch the party’s ticket and pave the way for his campaign ahead of the elections.
Five votes were voided.

The outcome of the primary election was announced by the Secretary of the Primary Committee, Abdulazeez Salaudeen.
