JAMB sanctions 132 CBT centres over data discrepancies, invites affected candidates for correction

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has uncovered data discrepancies in 132 out of 887 approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, affecting at least two candidates per centre.
Following a thorough investigation, JAMB has sanctioned the affected centres for their role in the inconsistencies. Although the number of candidates involved—200 out of 2,030,627—is relatively small, the Board insists that any level of inaccuracy is unacceptable in its registration process.

JAMB has invited the 200 affected candidates to visit any JAMB centre to correct the mismatched data. Meanwhile, registration officers at the penalized CBT centres have been permanently barred from participating in any JAMB registration or examination-related activities.
