Nigeria’s inflation drops to 16.05% in October – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has announced a continued decline in Nigeria’s headline inflation, which fell to 16.05 percent in October 2025.
The latest Consumer Price Index report, released on Monday, shows that this marks the seventh consecutive month of falling inflation, signaling a positive trend in the country’s economic indicators.

Analysts suggest that the steady decline could ease the cost-of-living pressures on households and provide a more stable environment for businesses, although challenges remain in sustaining the downward trend.
