Tinubu approves appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in Federal Civil Service

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries, filling key vacancies within the Federal Civil Service.
The announcement was made on Monday in Abuja by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack. The statement was issued through the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Eno Olotu, highlighting the government’s continued efforts to strengthen the civil service with experienced leadership.
According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Ibrahim Ozi (Federal Capital Territory), Ezemama Chidiebere (Imo State), Garba Usman (North Central Geo-Political Zone), Mohammed Ishiyaku (North East Geo-Political Zone), and Ukaire Chigbowu (South East Geo-Political Zone).
Walson-Jack explained that the appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process consistent with President Tinubu’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence in public service.

She urged the new appointees to bring their expertise and experience to bear in improving service delivery and advancing the government’s development agenda.
She also commended President Tinubu for upholding transparency, merit, and professionalism in the Federal Civil Service, noting that the appointments reflect the administration’s determination to build a competent, efficient, and results-driven public service that meets the aspirations of Nigerians.
