Police Career
Frank Mba joined the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet officer on May 18, 1992, at the Nigeria Police Academy in Kano, where he graduated as the best cadet of his class.
His career trajectory reflected steady advancement based on merit, competence, and leadership.
He began his professional journey as an Inspector, later rising through the ranks to Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1999 and Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2003.
By 2008, he had become a Superintendent of Police, and in 2012, he was promoted to Chief Superintendent. Subsequent elevations saw him become an Assistant Commissioner of Police in 2014, Deputy Commissioner in 2018, and Commissioner of Police in December 2020.
In March 2023, he was decorated as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police, and by June 2023, he had reached the apex of his career as Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Department of Training and Development.

In this capacity, he contributed to policy formulation, capacity building, and institutional reforms, becoming a key member of the Nigeria Police management team.
International engagements
Frank Mba was widely recognized for his communication skills, serving three times as the Force Public Relations Officer.
